Cabin Fever

Today, Sarah and I had to get out of the house so we met at the CC for some play time with the kiddos.

1/3 of a Year!

Brayden is now 4 months old!!  He is growing so fast, which is evident from his 4 month well check up:

Ht: 25.5” – 75th %

Wt: 15 lbs 14 oz – 75 %

Head: 50th percentile

The doc was impressed with his strength again!   She said we have to wait on giving him solids yet though, which we were a little bummed about.  We can start before 6 months though.  So a few more weeks until the fun begins!

Random cuteness!

Just because we love our little guy so much, here are some random pictures of him from the last month…can you believe he’s going to be 4 months old next week??  That’s just crazy!

He is really grabbing for things now, and apparently got both toys at once in this picture!  Sitting in the Bumbo Chair is a fun activity now.

 

Still more camo!  This adorable outfit is from Aunt April & Uncle Evan, wish they were closer to see him more often!  He is already almost too big for the overalls now.  We’ll see how long he is next week at his appointment!

 

 

 

Mom and Dad are proud Stouties!  I got this onesie for him the last time I was at Stout, going to have to pick up another one next time, as he has pretty much outgrown this one!

 

 

Bathtime with Daddy, Brayden just loves to look at himself in the mirror when he’s in the bath, it’s pretty cute!  He is also splashing so much that we are thinking of moving him into the bathtub now.  That just doesn’t seem possible that he’s big enough for it yet!

Ski Bum

Grandpa Westvig races (downhill ski) during the winter, and waterskis in the summer.  He tires me out with all of his activity!  If only I can be that active when I am his age, way to go Dad!  We’re thinking that Brayden might be interested in skiing with as active as he is.

It’s a 1st Birthday Party!

Our best friends’ little guy turned ONE today!  It is so crazy to think that a year ago my best friend had a baby and I had no idea that I would be following shortly after!

The littlest baby in this picture is only 2 weeks old! 

Mall Rats

Wasn’t there a movie called “Mall Rats” that was filmed at EP Center?  Anyways…here is Brayden and Ellie (my co-worker’s baby that was born a couple of weeks after Brayden).  Her mom and I have decided to start having regular play dates, so far it has been mall walking at MOA and EP Center.  We cannot wait for warmer weather!!

It has been really fun to watch these two grow and to have someone who is going through the same things as we are.  We have plenty to discuss being new moms!

Boat Show

Today we made our yearly trip to the Boat Show.  It was quite different than last year, when Roxie was about two weeks from having Mason, and I was no where near pregnant.  Our friends Tim & Tara came with their little guy Finn, and Chris’ parents were in town for the weekend.  We had quite the crew!

3 Months!

Brayden is 3 months old today!  Wow, how time flies!  He is really getting a fun personality now and smiles and giggles for us a lot.   It is going to make it really hard to leave him to go to work now.

He is actually smiling for the camera sometimes too, but when he figures out what is going on then he usually stops his big smiles.

 

 

Bath time is one of his favorite times of day now.  We have to put up lots of towels as he kicks and splashes all over the bathroom.

Sleeping Prince

My sweet little man was sleeping in his swing so I had to grab a picture….I think he might like his burp rag a little too much, maybe he’ll be like his mommy and like a blanket when he gets a little older.  Although it is a burp rag, I should let you know that it is a very soft one with fleece on one side, made by Grandma Westvig. :-) 

I wish he would sleep this well at night, when will that happen again?  We had a great routine down before the holidays but have since lost it.  I have gotten a lot of different pieces of advice, but haven’t found one that works yet.  Any ideas from the mamas out there?

On another note, I finally got my hair done so I feel a little bit more human again!  And can show my face in pictures with my little guy…we were cheering on the Pack last night but it just wasn’t enough for a win!

Even though we’re not able to watch the Pack win today, we still had to dress up the cutest fan ever….and we finally got a smile on camera!
