Baby #2!

Brayden would like to let you know that he is going to be a big brother in January!

State Fair time!

It's that time of year....Minnesota State Fair!  In the past 15 years, I don't think I have missed one Fair.  There is just something about the Great Minnesota Get-Together that I cannot miss!  This year we met up with our neighbors and ate as much food as possible, that is the point of the fair right?  Brayden had a great time looking at the cows and horses, and even petting some of them.  He even got to go on his first Fair ride, the cars.  Although it rained the last hour we were there, it didn't put a damper on our fun!

Brayden and Daddy watching the cows being milked.
A fish hat, can you see it?

Finally wore him out!

This is what a long weekend of working on the house does to lil B!

Lil man

Brayden is growing up so fast lately!  His latest phrases crack us up: "Big muscles!" and "I'm busy now"  He is also great at making sure we pray before meals.  It's amazing the little things that they pick up on.

Towing...a truck

This is a first...have you ever seen a truck being pulled by a boat?  B is one clever kid!

Handsome lil man

B got his suit for the wedding he is in this summer....such a handsome lil devil!

It's hot, man!

It's a hot one today!  B is taking full advantage as usual.

Outdoor siesta

This is where B decided he wanted to nap this afternoon.  Can't miss a thing that's going on outside!

House Renovation Pics-Kitchen

I realized the other day that I am long overdue in posting pictures of what we have been doing around the house.  See below for a start of a long list….and please pardon my photography skills!

-what it looked like when Chris first moved into the house.  Notice the pretty orange/pink walls, lacey curtains and of course the drop ceiling.

-what it looks like now….we installed granite countertops, cherry cabinets, tile backsplash, travertine floors, all new stainless appliances.  It’s going to be hard to leave this!

-how we came up with the idea to wrap the countertop around into the dining room. We found it to be a great place for extra storage/counter space.

-what it looked like after we removed the drop ceiling, and painted the walls. It definitely brightened up the dark brown room.

Corn on the cob is yummy!

B loves corn on the cob, he also loves to wear his sunglasses....upside-down!  Crazy kid.  We're ready for summer at this house!
