One of my favorite traditions is the Minnesota State Fair. For as long as I can remember, I have gone at least once each year. I even have roped Chris into this fun tradition, and now we are able to bring Brayden. I do have to say it is a bittersweet time of year though, it always makes me nostalgic for school (college of course), sad that summer is over, excited that fall is just around the corner (change of clothes!), but also remember that winter is not too far behind.
This year, we went with the King men, Al & Mason. We also met up with my brother & sister-in-law and the girls. We were quite the troop!
Oink Oink! The boys were quite interested in the big pigs.
Checking out the Fashion Show from our fellow Minnesotans!
The new food this year…and yes it was very yummy and deep fried. Not on a stick though!
The boys checking out the fish at the DNR building.
Watching the (LOUD!) lumberjack show. B loved the chainsaws of course!
Al & Mason going through the Little Farmhands Exhibit. In a couple of years the boys will really enjoy it.
For now, they just like parts of it…such as riding the toy tractors…
And sitting on the REAL tractor!
Maddie really enjoyed the Farm…free Lucky Charms!
AJ just along for the ride.
Ahh….more free stuff from the Fair. Why is it that kids love the free stuff?
