This morning I ran my first 5K. There is an annual race at Minnehaha in Minneapolis every spring, and this year some of the MOPS moms decided to run it together. We all finished! That was the goal for most of us “rookies”. Unfortunately, this spring was not the best for training in (even though I got a jogging stroller just for training with Brayden), and the morning of the run pretty much summed up our spring in Minnesota. We all had garbage bags on for most of the race, pretty funny sight! My stats for the race are below, it’s all official:

Next weekend, I run my 2nd 5K, this time with my brother, and then later that morning we will walk the same 5K (crazy, huh?) with our family in honor of my mom’s triumph over breast cancer.
